I especially love what it says in Luke 6:48 (a parallel account of Jesus teaching this parable). Not only will our houses not be destroyed, they won’t even be shaken! Now that is a firm foundation! And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.
