A selfish prayer breaks the heart of God because he wants to be loved as much as we love ourselves. A selfish prayer seeks personal gratification whether within or without the God’s will. A selfless prayer wants God to do whatever he wants whether within or without our will so that he can be glorified, as we prosper.
