St. Leonard’s is one of a group of five Church of England parishes within Banbury, situated in the Grimsbury area of the town. Our style of worship is traditional, drawing on the richness of ritual and, in normal times, enhanced by the use of choral music and congregational singing. We are a very friendly congregation with a wide range of ages who are able to work together and support each other, both in Worship and during our regular weekly activities.
There will be a Service of Remembrance in church for HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on Wednesday 14th April at 10am. All welcome.
‘Hearts’ can also be left at the vicarage, next to the church.
The church is currently open on Sunday mornings only (except for special services), as follows:
10am Eucharist service
11am to 12 noon Church open for individual private prayer. All are welcome. There is always someone there to welcome and provide assistance, if necessary.
We will continue to hold services on Saturdays and Sundays via Zoom. If you would like to join us, please Contact Us
