Activities

Our church is passionate about encouraging other people to both come to know God for themselves, and with us, to deepen our relationships with God. The church is a family, stressing the importance of living and working together, having fun along the way. Yet we are also outward looking, aiming to have an impact on the community around us.

All our church activities work towards these aims and St. Leonard’s is an exciting place to be. As you look further at our site, we hope you catch some of the sense of life that is here, and come and join us – we would love to meet you. Contact Us

Saturday Mornings

We are open for booking weddings and baptisms every Saturday between 10.30am and 11.30am.

Coffee Mornings

Coffee mornings are held every Saturday between 10.30am and 12 noon.

Fairtrade

St Leonard’s Church is a ‘Fair Trade Church’ and is therefore committed to supporting Fair Trade. Producers often struggle to survive within a system of world trade that is not fair. Fair trade means the producers get a more realistic and guaranteed price for their products.

As part of our commitment to Fair trade, St Leonard’s serves only Fair trade products (e.g. tea, coffee and sugar).

The Choir

Our choir meets every Tuesday at 7.30pm and we are always happy to recruit new members, of all ages. Children may join the choir from the age of 7 upwards..

The choir is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music, and we refer to their guidelines on training, and suggestions on appropriate music for the seasons of the church year.

If you like to sing, and would like to be involved in leading the musical worship Sunday by Sunday, please contact us or attend a rehearsal – in the church on Tuesdays, 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

Street Pastors

Several members of our church are involved with Banbury Street Pastors. If you would be interested in becoming a Street Pastor or a Prayer Pastor, please contact us …

You are welcome to come and pray with the Street Pastors before and whilst they are on patrol – check our weekly newsletter for details.
